  • What training is available?

    Local Face to Face training

    Several territories offer local face to face training options for you and your colleagues. To find out more email your local office via the above link and ask to be contacted regarding face to face training.

    Take a course on Lloyd’s

    The Lloyd’s And London Market Introductory Test or LLMIT is an online course available to all our coverholders. 

    LLMIT develops and tests awareness and comprehension of how business is traded in the London market and the roles and responsibilities of those involved. This enables market entrants to get to grips with London's working practices and processes.

  • How can I build more relationships with Lloyds?

    If you have a specific opportunity that you wish to discuss then the first port of call should be your Lloyd’s broker in London.

    If however you wish to discuss opportunities with other brokers then you may wish to use the Broker Directory to source them.

    Coverholders will always need to use a Lloyd’s broker to establish the contract of delegation for any new piece of business. If you wish to develop relationships more generally with brokers and other coverholders please keep an eye on the ‘networks / events’ area of the website to see what’s coming up.

  • Who can I speak to?

    If you have a query about your contract of delegation then you should contact your sponsoring broker. Your broker should be able to help resolve most issues. If they cannot answer your query the sponsoring broker should contact The Delegated Authorities Team for further advice.

  • Can I propose a contract or opportunity?

    To propose a contract or opportunity we suggest that you first discuss this with a Lloyd's broker and or managing agent.

    It makes most sense to talk to a Lloyd’s broker or managing agent who deals with the type of business you do. You can find a directory of Lloyd’s brokers and managing agents online, which you can access from the following links:
