FAQ

How do I make an update to my entry in the Market Directories?
Once you have the correct permissions, you can update your entry by following these steps:

  1. Go to the Market Directories page for either brokers or managing agents and log in to lloyds.com.
  2. Click on the 'edit' button next to your company name. You can use the filters on the right hand side of the page to locate your company.
  3. Click on either the 'Company information' or 'Class of business' tab and click on 'Edit details'.
  4. Once you have made the required amends, click on 'Save profile'.

Your changes will be reflected immediately.

Why has the information been pre-populated for managing agents?
Taking data from approved business plans helps to improve consistency and accuracy. It means that you do not have to take any action to keep your entry up to date once the new underwriting year starts.

Where does the syndicate class of business information come from?
Class of business information in Market Directories will now be drawn automatically from your approved business plan. No other information from your business plan will be displayed in Market Directories.

What information can I edit?
Managing agents can amend company information (such as telephone numbers, web site and address) and can remove classes on their approved business plan.

Brokers can also amend company and class of business information.

Brokers that are also coverholders can only amend class of business information. Please continue to update your company information in Atlas. Once updated in Atlas, the Market Directories will reflect this change automatically.

What happens if I do nothing?
For managing agents, the directories will reflect your approved business plan for 2012. At the start of each new year, this will be updated to reflect the approved plan for the current year. You will receive an email to confirm when this has happened so you can make any required changes.

For brokers, the class of business information is blank to begin. Any changes you make are not updated automatically. Once you have made the initial amends, your information will not change again unless you change it. You will receive an email at the start of each new year to prompt you to update if the classes of business you broke have changed.

Can a colleague make these changes instead?
Yes, but they need to have the correct permissions first.

For managing agents, your Core Market Returns devolved administrator will be able to give these permissions.

For brokers, please contact marketdirectories@lloyds.com with your request.

Who do I contact if I have problems?
If you have any technical problems such as not being able to log into your account, please email usersupport@lloyds.com.

For problems updating your details, please email marketdirectories@lloyds.com.
