Lloyd's newest international representative is Witold Janusz

Lloyd’s has appointed Witold Janusz as its first representative for Poland.

His primary role will be working on the process of gaining a full establishment licence for Lloyd’s in Poland which has been identified as offering strong potential opportunities for the Lloyd’s market.

Once Lloyd’s has a full establishment licence in Poland, Mr Janusz will take on a more general role as Lloyd’s representative, responsible for working on business development while maintaining Lloyd’s relationships with the local regulatory authorities.

Janusz has over 20 years of experience in the Polish market starting his career at TUiR WARTA S.A. in Gdynia, where he became Head of the P&I Claims department. He joins Lloyd’s from HDI-Gerling where he was a member of the board, and prior to that he was vice-president of Sopockie Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń (STU) Ergo Hestia S.A.

Jose Ribeiro, Director of International Markets and Business Development at Lloyd’s commented:
