Lloyd's has become aware that a firm called CitiWealth Asset Management with purported addresses of 345 Hudson Street, New York, NY 10014, USA and Bahnhoff Strasa No 71 8050, Zurich, Switzerland, describing itself as an investment advisory firm has been representing that it has an association with Lloyd's and/or that its products are protected by or at Lloyd's. On its web site it also shows a link to a supposed Lloyd's US web site.
Consumers should be warned that no association between Lloyd's and CitiWealth Asset Management exists. Similarly, CitiWealth Asset Management does not and has never held any authority from Lloyd's or Lloyd’s underwriters to bind or accept insurance business or issue insurance documentation for its products. Further, the content of the purported Lloyd's US web site has not been provided by Lloyd's [of London] or Lloyd's America Inc nor does it show correct information. The genuine Lloyd's US web site can be accessed via http://us.lloyds.com.
