Stephen Ashwell joined the Lloyd’s market from school working as a broker for Willis, Faber and Dumas and has since enjoyed a long career at Lloyd’s and in Bermuda.

Stephen joined Hiscox in 1992 and he took responsibility for the war, terrorism and political violence accounts in 1998. Stephen has led Hiscox into a dominant position in the market underwriting a large terrorism and political violence account for a wide variety of industries around the world.
