As Director of the Aon National Property Practice/Aon Property Brokerage Group, Aaron is the national resource responsible for new business origination as well as program design and placement for Fortune 1000 retail clients. He is also responsible for both terrorism and property risk programme structuring and marketing for Aon’s large account clients, and as Director of U.S. terrorism insurance, he is a resource for all issues regarding the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act (TRIA) as well as global terrorism issues.
Aaron joined Aon Risk Services’ Property Brokerage Group after three years with Aon Re’s Treaty Reinsurance Group in New York. Joined Aon Re in September 1999 and was responsible for producing and placing Marine, Energy and Specialty Property business. Member of Aon’s Marine & Energy Product Group and sat on Aon Re’s US Marine & Energy Operations Board, which worked in concert with Aon Ltd. (UK).
Prior to Aon Re, spent three years in the insurance and reinsurance business with Guardian Royal Exchange (GRE) Group’s US Division and, later, Liberty International Underwriters (part of the Liberty Mutual Group) as a Vice President/Director for both GRE and Liberty. Member of the management team responsible for directing business development, M&A, divestitures and strategy within the global division.
