Gerard Forlin was educated at the LSE and Trinity Hall Cambridge, is a barrister at 2-3 Gray’s Inn Square and is widely accepted as a leading expert in the field of regulatory crime, public inquiries and inquests. He was called to the Bar in 1984 and has undertaken disaster cases all over the world. He acts in large-scale fraud and conspiracy charges, all regulatory crime, aviation, disaster litigation, corporate manslaughter, Health & Safety, environmental issues, inquests and Public Inquiries.

He is standing Counsel to many plcs, government departments and trade unions both in the UK and abroad and acts for numerous Local Authorities. He has acted in many of the highest-profile cases in recent times including Watford, Southall, Paddington, Teebay, Purley, Hatfield, the Barrow Legionnaire’s case.
