Eammon Egan, Country Manager in Ireland hosted members of the Dublin Insurance Institute Council and the Young Irish Brokers Association.
The group participated in a Q&A presentation given by Edward Pennock of International Markets and toured the building with Jon Avidon, formerly of Argenta.
The programme for the day included a tour and buffet lunch with market brokers and guests with a strong interest in the Irish market. Various presentations informing the group about the operation of the Lloyd’s Market, the Lloyd’s Regulatory environment, and Lloyd’s involvement in Ireland were given.
The visit was designed to showcase the Lloyd’s brand to a cross-section of the Irish insurance community and to provide delegates with an understanding of how the Lloyd’s market works. It is also hoped that this first-hand experience of Lloyd’s will further enhance the profile of the Lloyd’s Ireland office amongst Irish industry members and create a strong platform for future collaboration on industry developments.
Earlier in the month (20 January), Eamonn had also presented to almost 100 market participants on Gallery 11. You can share his presentation at:
