Lloyd's Chicago Office

New open plan design promotes a more collaborative working environment for colleagues and visitors to Lloyd's Chicago office.

Lloyd's hosted a gala reception for regional insurance professionals on 6th October to showcase the newly renovated Chicago office.

The sleek, modern space has been designed on an open plan to promote a more collaborative working environment for colleagues and visitors and to bring it in line with other Lloyd’s international offices. With three large new conference spaces and enhanced IT and communications equipment, the Chicago office is positioned to act as a base point for Lloyd’s market participants visiting the US.

US Central Regional Director Pat Talley said, “The event was a huge success, attracting over 200 guests, providing us the opportunity to promote our presence in Illinois as the central services hub for Lloyd’s in the US.”

The event was hosetd by Lloyd's CEO Richard Ward, Director of North America & General Counsel Sean McGovern, Lloyd’s America President Hank Watkins and US Central Regional Director, Pat Talley.

For more than 150 years, the United States and the Lloyd’s insurance market have enjoyed doing business together. More than 80 years ago, Lloyd's chose Illinois as the first overseas jurisdiction in which to become an admitted insurer.
