The Lloyd's and London Market Introductory Test (LLMIT) is to receive a number of new features and benefits, that will see it available around the world.
From August, 2010, users of the LLMIT will be able to take computer-based test 365 days a year at over 5,000 test centres in 162 countries worldwide.
Further enhancements include eLearning educational content to aid in self-directed learning; enhanced candidate support, including mock examinations and practice papers; and a streamlined candidate booking process.
After a three-month tendering process PearsonVUE - the world's leading computer-based testing and assessment business - was chosen to implement these improvements. Lloyd’s will continue to work in partnership with the CII on other projects, while ensuring that credits from the LLMIT can still be used in study towards ACII.
Suzy Black, Lloyd’s Head of Human Resources, said: “Lloyd’s is committed to offering the LLMIT as a very important first step in professional development for a career within the Lloyd’s and London Market. The move to PearsonVUE will enable us to deliver substantial improvements to the LLMIT and the candidate experience.”
Further details will follow closer to the date.
