Lloyd's donates to Pakistan Floods

Flooding Lloyd's Charities Trust has doubled £20,000 of donations to the Pakistan Floods Appeal, raising £40,000 for those in need.

Lloyd's Charities Trust matched donations pound for pound up to a total of £20,000 to help the millions who have been affected by the worst floods in Pakistan's history.

People working in the Corporation and Lloyd's market wanting to help the emergency relief effort were encouraged to visit The Big Give website where they were able to make a donation to the DEC Pakistan Floods Appeal. Lloyd's Charities Trust then matched these donations up to the total of £20,000.

Lloyd's Charities Trust is the grant-making charity of the Lloyd's insurance market. Responding to disasters and emergencies is one of its three key funding priorities.
