Lloyd’s the world’s specialist insurance market

Keith Stern

Keith originally practised as an accountant prior to joining Lloyd's over twenty years ago. Following ten years in Australia as Lloyd's Country Manager in Sydney, Keith returned to the UK in July 2010 to take up a new position as Lloyd's Regional Manager for the UK and Ireland. Keith is responsible for developing a country plan for the UK which will support the business development activities of Lloyd's Managing Agents and Brokers in London and assist them in developing the Lloyd's brand in the UK regional market.

I sit on the MGAA Steering Committee and I'm pleased to report that it has now concluded a round of consultations with interested parties over the feasibility of creating a new trade association for Managing General Agents (comprising both Lloyd's Coverholders and non-Lloyd's MGAs).
