Mark Gollcher has been the local director of Lloyd's Malta Ltd since its incorporation in 1999. Before then he had already been involved for some years assisting the Lloyd's Representative in Malta.
Mark is also a director of the Gollcher Group of Companies in Malta. The Group activities include Lloyd's Agency, loss adjusting, ship and liner agency, freight forwarding as well as travel and tourism.
Before joining the Gollcher Group, Mark worked with PriceWaterhouse in London and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales as well as a Fellow of the Malta Institute of Accountants. For fifteen years he served as Honorary Consul for the Netherlands at Malta and in 2004 was awarded a Knighthood in the Dutch Order of the Oranje Nassau. In 2007 he was appointed Vice Consul for Sweden at Malta.
