Marianna Papadakis was appointed General Manager for Greece in January 2000. She is also Deputy Chairman of Lloyd's Greece SA, the general and fiscal representative for Lloyd's underwriters in Greece. Marianna also manages, and is a Director of, Lloyd's Cyprus Limited, the general and fiscal representative for Lloyd's Underwriters in Cyprus since April 2003.
Marianna joined the Corporation of Lloyd's in 1996 starting in what was the International Department. She has spent time on secondment in Greece, when she set up Lloyd's Greece SA in 2000, and travels regularly to Greece and Cyprus to ensure local compliance and maintain and develop market contacts. Marianna is based in London and in addition to her country management responsibilities she is Manager, European legal representatives within International Markets and Business Development.
Marianna has a degree in Geography from King's College, London.
