Jes Anker Mikkelsen joined the Lloyd's network of General Representatives in April 2006. Jes is a partner of the Danish law firm Bech-Bruun. He is based in Copenhagen and heads the firm's Insurance and Transport Group with some 13 specialised lawyers. Jes has been involved in the insurance industry throughout his career representing foreign and domestic insurers in disputes, coverage issues as well as regulatory matters. He has developed an extensive network of contacts within the industry all over the world and has given lectures and written articles on insurance issues. He is admitted to all courts in Denmark, including the Supreme Court. Further he is a qualified mediator and the chairman of the Danish Association of Mediation Lawyers.
