The Exposure Management team is part of Lloyd's Franchise Performance Directorate and is responsible for:
- Realistic Disaster Scenarios (RDS): Define realistic disaster scenarios and benchmark stress test for the Lloyd's market.
- Agent reviews: Thorough review of Managing Agent capabilities and competencies in respect of managing the potential aggregation of risk (u/w and capital), within the context of franchise underwriting standards.
- Emerging Risks: Identify future key market risks. Raise issues to wider market and provide an educational role. Facilitate increasing future interaction with academia.
- Innovation: Data visualisation services, UK flood risk assessment tool, and improving understanding of existing hazards.
- Reinsurance: Produce group and benchmarking analysis using the Syndicate Reinsurance Programme (SRP), a quarterly return of in-force reinsurance protections provided by all Lloyd's Managing Agents.
- Reinsurance asset: Produce benchmarking analysis (age of debt and asset quality) based on the reinsurance debtor return (QMR form 710), a quarterly return of reinsurance recoverable data provided by all Lloyd's Managing Agents. Review managing agent capabilities and competencies in respect of reinsurance recoveries and credit control. LORS code (a unique reinsurer identifier) management.
