Following the implementation of the Performance Framework, which comprises standards relating to underwriting management, claims management, risk management, effective operational processes, governance and protecting Lloyd’s reputation and brand, all but two of the Codes contained in the Codes Handbook were revoked from 1 January 2008. This was done in order to create one source of requirements and guidance at Lloyd’s, insofar as this is possible
