Council Election Result - January 2009

The ballot to elect one individual external member to the Council of Lloyd’s closed at 13.00 on Monday 26 January 2009. The results of the ballot as received from Electoral Reform Services (the independent scrutineers for the election) are as follows:

Mr Michael Eunan McLarnon Deeny has, accordingly, been elected for a term of three years commencing on 1 February 2009.

*In accordance with the Council Byelaw (No 18 of 1996) (as amended), votes for the individual external vacancy have been calculated on a capacity weighted voting basis.

All appointments to Council are subject to approval by the Financial Services Authority.
