Introduction

Graduate careers that help make the future possible

As the world’s specialist insurance market, at Lloyd’s we’ve built an impressive reputation for insuring some of the most complex and specialist risks across the globe, from oil rigs to celebrity body parts, and major airlines to the world’s biggest businesses and sports events.

Our work enables things to happen today and – in doing so – fuels the progress of tomorrow. Similarly, join us on either of our graduate programmes and what you learn and experience here will inspire your development for years to come.

Both of our graduate programmes are designed to launch your career, but there are some key differences between the two. If you want to explore your skills and interests by gaining experience in different areas, the generalist graduate programme will let you tailor your own development with placements in both the market and the Corporation.

The claims graduate programme, meanwhile, is structured to offer fast-track development that will help gear you up for a career as a claims adjuster in the market (the skilled professional who manages a claim from its initial investigation through to its conclusion, by consulting with experts, negotiating and exercising strategic decision making). Ultimately, the programme aims to develop the heads of claims of the future.

We also offer summer internships for students in their penultimate year, which give you the chance to gain experience and insight as you build on your expertise.

To help you decide where you fit in, take a look at our Explorer Tool, which will show you how our organisation works in practice.
