Risk Management

Risk Management is headed by Olly Reeves. The department aims to enable effective management of the key risks facing the Franchise both at the Corporation level and across the Market. The department also provides assistance and advice to the market in developing risk management practice and associated systems and controls.

Risk Management is made up of the following teams, all of which are headed by Olly Reeves:

Operational Risk
Responsibility: Predominantly focussing on Managing Agents in the market by analysing risk management approaches, carrying out reviews of systems and controls and providing assistance and to advise the market in relevant areas.

Business Continuity Planning
Responsibility: To develop arrangements and procedures that enable Lloyd's to respond to an event so that critical business functions continue to required levels during interruption or essential change.

Risk Analysis
Responsibility: Coordination of risk management activity at the Corporation as well as focussing on developing risk management approaches and techniques for use across the Franchise.
