Communications is made up of the following teams:
External and internal communications
Responsibility: To handle Lloyd's communications, particularly to external audiences through the media, and internal audiences through tools such as Lloyd's intranet. To provide a 24-hour service to the media, answering any questions from journalists and providing information on developments at the Corporation. To keep staff fully informed of developments within Lloyd's.
Events
Headed by: Neil Smith
Responsibility: Managing and delivering Lloyd's UK and international events programme, as well as implementing Lloyd's thought leadership programmes and campaigns (eg 360 Risk Project). Events has a further responsibility for inward visits to Lloyd's.
Community Affairs
Headed by: Vicky Mirfin
Responsibility: The Community Affairs team runs the award winning Lloyd's Community Programme and three charitable trusts on behalf of the market - co-ordinating volunteering, charitable giving and fundraising activities for market employees. The team also looks after the Corporate Responsibility Policy for Lloyd's Corporation, focusing on environmental issues and community involvement.

Headed by: Claire Lowe as Jo Scott is currently on maternity leave
Responsibility: This team acts as business owners for lloyds.com, with responsibility for:
- Day to day running of the website, managing updates and supporting the network of Lloyd's content authors.
- Developing new online content and functionality, in line with customer needs and feedback.
- All aspects of the lloyds.com customer experience, delivering the highest standards of usability, accessibility and web design.
- Working with technology providers to ensure lloyds.com is a high performance, cost effective and well supported website.
- Marketing and promotion of lloyds.com.
