The Lloyd’s Community Programme (LCP) team is hosting a volunteer fair on Thursday 17 July 2008 from 12.00 - 14.30 in the main reception at Lloyd’s.
The volunteer fair provides an opportunity for anyone who works in the Lloyd’s market to learn about ways they can contribute to the local community through volunteering.
Last year over 900 people from the Lloyd's Market volunteered. The work carried out by the programme in East London has a significant impact on the individuals and organisations supported.
Whether it’s rolling up your sleeves to create a garden for a local community centre, sharing your enthusiasm for football with a team of 11 year old budding Beckhams or supporting a child in reading, the LCP team can find the volunteer project to suit your interests and skills.
If you are a Lloyd’s market participant and are thinking about starting up a volunteer programme, as part of your corporate responsibility, or an individual wanting to get involved in a project, the LCP team can provide all the support and advice you need to get going.
To talk to a member of the team or for more information, stop by the volunteer fair between 12.00 – 14.30. For details please contact Hannah Payson on 020 7327 5484 or hannah.payson@lloyds.com
