How we work with the community

Since its beginning, Lloyd’s Community Programme has worked with a number of local organisations to address some of the main socio-economic challenges in East London. The programme’s support is divided into six themes, each one addressing a key social need in the local community.

Developing and improving literacy and numeracy skills with school children.

Supporting projects in schools and colleges focused on developing skills to help tackle employability.

Improving the opportunities and environment for people living in East London.

Increasing children’s enjoyment and exposure to sports activities.

Sharing professional skills to support community leaders or taking on a community leadership role.
