Lloyd’s Charities Trust is the grant making charity for the Lloyd’s market.  Established over fifty years ago, Lloyd’s Charities Trust has a long tradition of providing charitable support to a wide range of national and international charities on behalf of the Lloyd’s market.  Donations are made by the Trust to a number of charities focusing on children and young people; social welfare development and medical health projects.

It focuses its activity through these key activities:

Carrying water in Africa.
Partner Charities
The Trust works with and supports three partner charities over a three year period.  The theme for 2007-2010 is 'At Risk' and the partner charities have been selected on the basis of providing innovative projects to support some of those most at risk at home and abroad, with an emphasis on protection of those involved and a focus
on prevention of further issues.
The current partner charities for 2007-2010 are Coram; FARM-Africa and Samaritans.
