Even in the time it’s taken you to read this far, the world has changed. Perhaps that change will affect only a few people. Perhaps more. But it will almost certainly have affected what we do at Lloyd’s.

Quite simply, it is impossible to retread old ground here, or rely on what has been done before. That means, during your career at Lloyd’s, you’ll constantly be learning. There’s much we’ll do to help you, but by the same token, we’ll expect you to help yourself too. How far you go and how much you develop depends on how much responsibility you take for your own career.

Professional qualifications
In addition to the Lloyd’s and London Market Introductory Test you’ll study for as part of your graduate development, you’ll also have the chance – beyond the graduate programme – to study for professional qualifications. It’s fair to say we place a high value on such qualifications, and we’ll make sure you get both the time off to study and take the exams, and the funding you need to take the relevant courses and buy your study materials.
