Is it possible to defer for a year to travel?
Unfortunately not. However, we have a sabbatical policy at Lloyd’s whereby - subject to approval - after three years’ service you can take up to 12 months unpaid leave.
Do you do one-year sandwich placements?
Not within the Corporation, although there may be opportunities within certain managing agents in the Lloyd’s market. Please see the Lloyd’s Market Association’s graduate website for more details, using the link on the right.
Can I do some unpaid work experience or work shadowing?
Unfortunately not. Our policy on work experience is to only support two organisations that provide work experience for local schoolchildren in the Tower Hamlets area.
