The Lloyd's Building
The main home of Lloyd’s can be found at One Lime Street, in the heart of the City of London - perhaps the most impressive of the many buildings we’ve inhabited in our time. Designed by Richard Rogers (now Lord Rogers) and opened by Her Majesty the Queen in 1986, it has won a string of awards for its post-modern design.
This building is where most of our main activities occur, and is the home of the market itself. As a graduate, this is where you will be predominantly based. You can take a look around for yourself on our interactive tour.
ChathamNot far out of London lies our Chatham office. Home to around 90 people, this is where we look after the funds of all our members. You’ll also find part of our Finance, HR and IT teams here.
WorldwideWhile our home has always been London, the majority of our business actually comes from overseas – the US, for example, provides almost 40%. In total, Lloyd’s operates in over 200 countries and territories worldwide.
